Bristol City Council’s Creative Seed Fund and the Festival Fund are now open for applications.

Community groups, organisations and individual artists in the city can now apply for the Council’s 2015-16 Creative Seed Fund and the Community Festival and Event Fund. These are annual funds that have one application round each year.

The Creative Seed Fund supports Bristol based creative projects. Individual projects can be awarded up to £3,000. There are two strands to this fund: Artist/Arts Organisation Development Strand and Community Arts Strand Application.

The Bristol Community Festival and Event Fund supports community celebration that engages communities and enhances local image and identity. Individual funds will be awarded up to a maximum of £2,000 per festival/event.

Opportunity to work for paintings in hospitals

Paintings in hospitals are looking for two freelance regional coordinators to join their team.

The post holder will need to promote Paintings in Hospitals loan services to health and social care sites and to increase the number of service users and artworks out on loan. They will be responsible for generating new loans and overseeing loan renewals.
