Culture Health and Wellbeing Conference Bursaries available for Bristol Artists and Arts Organisations

Four bursaries are available for artists and arts organisations in the Bristol area

(Other bursaries are available for Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Cornwall, Dorset and Somerset – please see for information.)


2 for individual artists who will receive full conference places for £50 (full price is £350 ticket each)

2 for arts for health organisations which will receive half-funded places at the conference (£175 towards ticket each)


  • You or your organisation must be based in Bristol
  • You must not be in receipt of core funding from a statutory body
  • You must have a track record of arts and health work in this region

How to apply

Please submit your application on a single side of A4 stating:

  • Your name, address, contact telephone number and email address
  • How attending the conference will benefit your arts and health practice
  • How you will work with the Bristol Arts and Health Forum to disseminate knowledge and experiences from the conference to other artists and healthcare providers
  • Please provide a brief outline of your work with links to any relevant websites describing key projects and indicators of the quality of your practice

Deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Wednesday 20th February 2013

A selection panel comprising at least 3 members of the Bristol Arts and Health Forum Steering Group will meet on Thursday 21st February to select the 4 bursaries.

Successful applicants will be notified of their bursary by Friday 22nd February.
